Wowza! Check out Melinda Bam on the cover of Women’s Health!

Melinda Bam Women’s Health on Tuesday announced that former Miss SA and TV personality Melinda Bam will be its March cover star. Those attending Women’s Health Fit Night Out  ( read more below ) on 17 February will be the first to see the hot new issue and will also have the chance to meet Melinda. Fans of SABC 3’s Tropika Island of Treasure (#TIOT8) already got a sneak peek behind the scenes of Melinda’s cover shoot, even though they might not have realised it! In the first episode of the season, Melinda can be seen on the set of a photo shoot. Unbeknownst to viewers, she was shooting the Women’s Health Cover. From being crowned Miss SA, to having fellow contestants accuse the pageant of bias and being labelled a racist after wearing gloves while feeding black children at a charity event in Soweto, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has had a rollercoaster 2017. And she's stronger for it. "It was a difficult time, but in the end it made me stronger. I learnt that you have to know what people's intentions are and you shouldn't take criticism from people who haven't made an effort to know you, to know your mind and heart.  You should listen to people who have your best interests at heart."
