WATCH: Nandi Madida rocks New York Fashion Week Nandi Madida Johannesburg – Nandi Madida brought a taste of Africa to New York when she showcased her ready-to-wear clothing line Colour at New York Fashion Week. The singer and TV presenter announced in January that she had been invited to the prestigious fashion event. Sharing clips and pictures from her show Nandi was overjoyed, saying that people from all over the world “love the new collection”. "A dream come true! I can't believe I showcased at Fashion Week," she wrote in another post. Nandi Madida to host Afropunk Joburg

Nandi Madida South African presenter Nandi Madida will be the host of the first ever Afropunk festival in Africa. The festival will take place at the end of this year on Saturday, 30 December and Sunday, 31 December. It will be bringing Solange Knowles, Laura Mvula, Anderson .Paak and a slew of other acts as headliners. The star reposted the news on her Instagram on Monday evening and then posted about the hosting duties again on Tuesday morning saying: “What a way to ring in the new year! I'll be hosting the first-ever edition of #AFROPUNKFEST in Africa on 30&31 December 2017 . AFRICA let's show the world how we Celebrate!
