Celebrities with the same surname who aren't related

The stars of Mzansi Magic’s latest hit drama, Isithembiso, have caused quite the stir due to the fact that they share the same surname, with many arguing that in Zulu culture, having the same surname means you’re related somehow.
But there are a number of ZAlebs who share the same surname but aren’t from the same family. Maybe somewhere, somehow, back in the day, their ancestors were related, but as it stands, these ZAlebs merely share a surname but aren’t related.

SABC slapped with R20k fine after broadcasting #fillupthedome

The Broadcasting Complaints Commisson of South Africa (BCCSA)  has published a judgement that shows SABC1 has been slapped with a R20 000 fine, this after complaints were made of profane language used during the broadcast of Cassper Nyovest’s Fill Up The Dome concert in November. On Friday, the BCCSA stated on its website that the “Material [was] broadcast before the watershed period, [and] considered harmful to children”. “The Tribunal is thus compelled to state that the respondent failed to exercise the necessary precaution prior to the broadcast of #FillUpTheDome concert and thus contravened the provisions of the broadcasting code of conduct.” The watershed period is the period in which it is appropriate to broadcast programming aimed towards mature or adult audiences.
