Paxton Fielies: ‘I’m so happy to bring the Idols SA title back home’
Idols SA season 13 winner Paxton Fielies stole the show at the Festive Lights Switch-On in Cape Town on Sunday.
The 17-year-old from Bishop Lavis had the crowd going crazy when the MC’s David Isaacs and Oscar Petersen introduced her as the next act.
This was Paxton’s first time performing for fans in Cape Town.
She had the crowd on their feet when she performed her debut single, Demonstrate.
Before the petite teen started her set, she thanked fans for their support throughout her Idols journey and for helping her bring the crown “back home”.
“It’s so good to be back home. Thank you for all the support. Thank you for voting for me. I’m really proud of myself and of you guys and I am really happy to bring the title back home,” she said.
