Load shedding risk increases from 2pm today, Eskom announces
The power utility warns that the system has been constrained since last night, and will continue to be so until Sunday.
Dreaded load shedding appears to be back, with Stage 1 likely from 2pm today, and power rotation likely to last until the end of the weekend.
Once again the utility needs to replenish diesel and water reserves.
The risk for Stage 1, the least severe stage, with 1,000MW needing to be shed, will continue until 10pm.
Please check your local schedule to see how you may be affected.
